Cyber Security jobs are on the rise with the US estimated to have almost 500,000 job openings as of May 2021.  AntiguaRecon is an CyberSecurity (aka "InfoSec") training program offered at Island Academy designed to help students gain their Junior Pentesting Certificate from Hack the Box (HTB), a massive online platform for learning ethical hacking skills through gamified hands-on training modules.  The HTB training usually costs thousands of US dollars, but Island Academy is sponsoring the training to help create career opportunities for young people in Antigua. 

Our vision is to help young people develop skills that they can sell overseas from here in Antigua so that we can help create a "Silicon Valley of the Caribbean".  We are looking for young people who have a burning interest in computer technology in general, and if possible, CyberSecurity in particular.  Please fill out the application and give your best pitch as to why you would like to learn how to be a Junior Pentester in CyberSecurity.
